about Tour
Guided Historical Tour and Seafood Experience
Guests will meet at a central point in Oban where they will be welcomed in our unique tartan vehicle. They will be taken on a tour of local historical sites not normally seen by the normal tourist population and thereafter taken through countryside off the beaten track. At the end of the tour the guests will be provided with a seafood (or vegetarian option) lunch and given an insight into the local shellfish economy.

They will visit Dunstaffanage Castle a ruined castle which has unique local history dating back to the 12th Century. Thereafter they will visit the St Conan's Kirk a uniquely famous church which holds bones of Robert the Bruce.
From there there will be opportunities to take photographs of Kilchurn Castle which dates to back to 15th century and was the original home of the Clan Campbell.

On route back to Oban they will be taken through Glen Lonan a hidden gem of a valley where standing stones and highland cattle can be observed. There should be opportunities to get up close and personal with highland cows and calf's if in season.

The guest will then be returned to Oban where a seafood lunch will be served outside in view of the local fishing boats.

We will provide transportation and a guide in a car or mini bus from Oban. The vehicle will have disabled access if required.
